18-Year-Old Robs Customer At Gas Station On Long Island, Police Say

An 18-year-old man is facing charges after police say he robbed a customer outside a Long Island gas station.

An 18-year-old man is charged with robbing a customer at the Speedway gas station on Montuak Highway in the Village of Quogue early Saturday, July 29.

The robbery happened at around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, July 29, in the Village of Quogue, at the Speedway gas station on Montauk Highway.

Investigators determined that Cameron Depetris, of Quogue, forcibly stole cash from a 22-year-old man, according to Quogue Village Police.

The victim was not injured during the ordeal.

Depetris was arrested Sunday night, July 30, on suspicion of felony robbery and misdemeanor menacing.

He was scheduled to be arraigned at the Quogue Justice Court on Monday, July 31.
